TabTrade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
The instrument list: FX, indices, metals, commodities, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently coming. That should be a good addition once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker does not.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part you need to be straight about. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of how you think about it.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before funding.
